Newsletter Procedures

The Auxiliary News Hub is the official publication of the American Legion Auxiliary Department of California. Its purpose is to disseminate information to the organization’s members. It showcases recent achievements, spotlights awesome volunteers, and highlights past and upcoming events. It also serves as a recruitment tool for potential new members.

The newsletter is published bimonthly.

The newsletter editor establishes submission deadlines for each issue and sends courtesy reminder emails a week ahead of time to contributors.

Drafts of each issue are sent to the American Legion Auxiliary President for approval.

Once approved, the newsletter is sent to the American Legion Auxiliary Webmaster and the American Legion Auxiliary Department Secretary. Photographs received are also forwarded to the webmaster if warranted.
